The Heads Up programme has been designed to be a preventative approach to tackling Substance Misuse in the Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough.

The information built into this programmme will help to inform people of the dangers of drugs, alcohol and substance misuse.

It also gives people a range of coping skills which will support them in dealing with a range of issues that they may encounter in their lives.

Over the past five years we have ran a Pharmacy Campaign for the safe disposal of old or unwanted prescription medication.

We have visited all the Pharmacies/Chemists in the Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough and we can say that 100% have signed up.

If you have any old or unwanted prescription medication don't flush or bin them.

You can leave them back into ANY of pharmacies in the borough.
